| Hey Everyone! Wow has it been a long time! I used to be on here all the time but not anymore... BJ has kept me so insanely busy! I love it though! I never thought I would say that but indeed out of all the places I have been I would not want to be anywhere else but BJ. There are actually alot of normal people there. Haha, much to my suprise! :) I hope everyone has been doing well and had a good Christmas break and is getting back in the swing of things with school. Leave me some notes people so I am interested in reposting. I am excited to hear what has been goging on in your lives! Christ is working marvelously in mine even though sometimes I don't feel it. He is amazing and His mercies never fail! I love all you guys! | | |
| Well guys, it's closing into time for school to start and my readiness for school to start has turned to not so ready for school to start. Oh well, it comes I suppose and I feel like I'm up for the challenge at least. I just got back from my camping trip at Eastatoe Gorge. It was alot of fun! There really weren't too many people that went but that's fine with me. We backpacked a few miles in and camped at an awesome area with the river and large trees with lots of moss on them. Today we did alot of rank advancement with the younger guys then we went swimming. OH MY WORD! That water was frigid! Plus if you stood still too long little fish would come and bite your toes. Later on I found a fish hook caught in the trees and managed to get it down/ I then proceeded to fish and caught 5 trout. It's a good thing I wasn't needing the food! Haha, I dunno, they weren't very big prolly enough to feed a person and a half. That was cool. Then today when we hiked out it was REALLY steep and there was some climbing practically. Other areas of the trail were only should width across and the other side was almost a 90 degree angle. It was frickin awesome though! OH! I forgot to tell you guys! There was also a table that had been lashed together that I found so I carried that back to camp and we had a small cooking table it was probably a foot and a half wide by 2 feet long. It was pretty pimp though. I should be getting my temporary tags for my car Monday too! YAY! I'm so excited! | Whoa! I've done it again! It's almost been a month since my last post on here. To be perfectly honest, I have been so busy lately that I haven't even had the time to post anything up here. Well, school starts the 31st and I'm ready for it to get here so I can get my work load to cool down some! It's been so incredibly hot lately and it makes it horrible to be out working in... I'm also looking at the prospects of another job... do something I actually enjoy! Imagine that?! Not a whole lot goin on in my realm of things... Although Grayson did call me during small groups last night and that was interesting. Cuz what is wrong with you people who call but won't leave voicemails?! THERE'S A REASON FOR THAT THING ON YOUR PHONE YA KNOW? Haha, oh well, so yea, my uncle's gettin married this weekend and I'm gonna be going to help set up the church in alittle while. It shall be soo exciting I can barely keep the exuberation from flowing out of my head, into my muscles, causing a motion that makes my fingers move, (imagine that, a motion that makes something move...) and onto this screen before me. I will leave you here wondering at my tremendous stupidity and the even more overwhelming fact that you actually read these posts. Ha! LOL! | Holy frickin cow! It's been forever since I've updated. I knew it hadn't been in awhile but still... I didn't think that it had been over a month! Whoa! I'm at camp rainey mountain in NE Georgia at the moment and it's not too bad. It gets kinda hot during the day but at night it cools off nicely. I had a mouse next to my ear last night trying to get in some of my food. Oh well, I was like, Oh no you don't my furry little friend! :) Anyhoo... I hope all is well in the world of bloggers and other such bold endeavors. If not.... Well... I'm sorry. Come visit me or something! Take care guys! | | |
| Well guys, it's been forever since I've updated this thing but yea. I've been just doin alot of working lately. I went to a conference with my church last week and it was absolutely amazing! Joshua Harris, C.J. Mahaney, Michael Bullmore, Jeff Purswell, Mark Dever, and another guy that I can't remember spoke. It was the biggest amount of theology I've gotten anywhere but I loved it! The worship was totally awesome too! What made this different than most conferences though was that there was application and people speaking into your life and you into theirs. It was so cool! God has begun to make an awesome change in my life as well as the others who went with me. I honestly can't even begin to explain what all happened there. It was crazy awesome! I'm getting a copy of all the sessions and breakouts if you guys want a copy I'd be more than happy to burn ya one! Hope all is well in the world of xangaers...
